Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial musician and singer who blends Soul gospel Jazz and R&B to create a unique mix. She has performed on Broadway as well as at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. While she's based in Atlanta, her roots are located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue a musical career performing and singing at church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You A House 12 came out only in Japan. The song has been remixed many times, and it is a mainstay of her live shows. She has also contributed her voice to the music of The Fighting Temptations. The band was hired as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. In 2007 Grammy and Tony award-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to become the choral director for the theatrical production of Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine gained attention during the four daily performances in The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine sang during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
